FAQ

  • What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is garden semi-formal. We hope you’ll get dressed up with us while also enjoying the natural charm of our outdoor celebration.

For Ladies: Choose flowy dresses in vibrant, garden-inspired hues: sunny yellows, coral pinks, blooming blues, and lush greens. Soft pastels, floral prints, or solid colors are all welcome. Opt for footwear like wedges, block heels, or flats to walk comfortably in the grass.

For Gentlemen: Lightweight suits in fabrics such as linen, cotton, or summer-weight wool in light or pastel tones are ideal for our outdoor setting. Please, no jeans.

  • What time should I arrive by?

Our ceremony will begin at 5pm. Please arrive between 4:00-4:30pm. This is to ensure you have enough time to park and be able to sit where you wish for the ceremony.

  • Can I bring a plus-one?

Our wedding will be intimate to enjoy with our loved ones so +1’s are limited at this time. If your partner is invited, their name is included on your invitation.

  • I'm traveling from out of town. Where should I stay?

Hotel blocks have been reserved for:

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Logansport

    Home 2 Suites Logansport

Please see the “Accommodations” tab for information on how to lock in our discounted rate!

  • Where is the nearest airport to fly into?

Our wedding venue is approximately two hours away from two airports.

Indianapolis International Airport (IND) - 1 hr 26 mins from venue (Voted best airport in North America!)

Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) - 1 hr 12 mins from venue

  • Will there be an open bar?

Yup! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. Please plan to party accordingly (and responsibly).

  • Where should I park?

We will have a designated area for parking at the entrance of the property. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of room!

  • Can I catch an Uber to and from the celebration?

Because we’re in a rural area, Ubers can be limited. We recommend scheduling one in advance!

  • What shoes should I wear?

We recommend you wear wedges, block heels, or flats to walk comfortably in the grass.

  • Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Yes! Both events will take place at Pipe Creek Falls.

  • Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you like.

  • Can I bring my children?

We love your little ones, but due to our ceremony and reception being in close proximity to unfenced water, we are not including small children at our wedding. We encourage you to use this evening as a fun “night out” for yourselves!

  • Can we explore around the property?

    Yes!

Our celebration is set on our lovely 7-acre property along a creek bend, and we encourage you to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Feel free to wander and explore later in the evening once our DJ lets you know it’s ok to do so. (We don’t want you to miss our big moments!)

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

Avoid the water: While the creek and waterfall features are beautiful, they can be slippery and unsafe. For your safety, please admire them from a distance.

Respect the space: Please leave the natural beauty as you found it, and avoid entering restricted or clearly marked private areas.

That said, don’t forget the best spot to be is the dance floor! We can’t wait to celebrate with you, so make sure to join us for all the fun and dancing.
